At $80 less than the new $249 iPod Classic and with a complete one-year Apple warranty, these are worth consideration. The Classic is larger in capability (80GB equals about 20,000 songs) while considerably thinner (0.41" thin) and lighter (just 4.9 ounces) then prior iPods. It has a 2.5" screen for video. Refurbished iPod Nanos from $99

Apple.com has new inventory of the Refurbished iPod Nanos. The Silver 4gb Model is at $99, while the 8GB model is now down to $149 with all five colors (silver, black, blue, pink, green) currently available. This current generation Nano has a 2" display that plays video, an updated interface, and comes with new features like the ability to "flip" through album cover art. Despite the "refurbished" status, it comes with the standard one-year Apple warranty ($39 for two-year) that a new iPod does. Apple now has refurbished of all three iPod Touch sizes at $100 less than the price of purchasing new. The 8GB model is $199, the 16GB model is $299 and the 32GB model is $399, a $30 drop and a new low price. The iPod Touch is like the iPhone but without the monthly AT&T bill (and the phone capability). It has the same touchscreen interface, 3.5" widescreen display and wi-fi web browsing the iPhone does, and has added direct wi-fi downloads from iTunes. The Nano is part of the PRODUCT RED launch, a group of popular products in Red special editions that donate money to the The Global Fund to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.
