Tax Day. Did you get anxious just reading those words? What about free stuff? Hopefully, that phrase had the opposite effect. Someone was really thinking about our sanity when they started the free things on Tax Day trend and we would like to send out a genuine and sincere ‘thank you’ to whomever you may be.

To confuse you even more this year, the official Tax Day is actually April 18. Since Washington, DC will be celebrating Emancipation Day (the day Lincoln signed the Emancipation Act) on Friday April 15, Tax Day was pushed to the next business day, which is Monday April 18.

This is actually a great change for freebie-lovers across the nation, as some places are still celebrating tax day on the 15th, and others on the 18th. These free goods will be spread out over the span of 2 days, or in some cases through the entire weekend! So, if you feel yourself stressing out as Tax Day approaches, we encourage you to find solace in this list, much like Brad Tuttle’s list, of Tax Day freebies:

Cinnabon: Get 2 free Cinnabon Bites on April 18 from 6-8 PM at your local location.

H&R Block: File for an extension on your taxes for free at any of H&R Block’s 11,000 locations and give yourself until October 17 to finish your tax return. Note that any taxes you owe will still be due in April.

HydroMassage: A great way to de-stress after the Tax Day chaos, HydroMassage is offering free massages from April 14-18 with this coupon. Click here to find a location near you. Note that they do encourage you to call ahead and schedule your massage in advance.

Office Depot: Through April 15, you can photocopy up to 25 pages of your tax return for free with this printable coupon.

Maggie Moo’s: Find a Maggie Moo’s near you to get a free mini ice cream sundae on April 18 from 3-6 PM. There is a limit of 1 sundae per person and only while supplies last.

California Tortilla: If you live on the East coast and near a California Tortilla location, you can get a free side of chips and queso or chips and salsa on April 18.

Arby’s: Visit Arby’s Facebook Event Page to print a coupon for a free curly fry on April 15th.

HBO/Cinemax: Select providers (so far we’ve heard Dish Network, some Cox Communications, Verizon FIOS, Direct TV) are offering a free preview of HBO, and in some cases Cinemax, from April 15-18. Contact your provider for more information.

Chili’s: Get a free appetizer or dessert on April 18 when you print out this Facebook coupon.

Chemistry.com: Maybe by this time next year you could be filing for two if you take advantage of Chemsitry.com‘s 3-day free pass if you register on April 18th.

Other Tax Day Deals:

McCormick & Schmick’s: Sticking with a 1040 theme, they are offering a $10.40 tax relief certificate when you join them for Happy Hour on April 15. For all of the procrastinators out there, they are also offering $10.40 entree and drink specials as well as $10.40 certificates for guests in the bar. Find a location near you.

P.F. Chang’s: Get 15% off your bill on April 18 with all dine-in and take-out orders. There are some resitrictions including alcoholic beverages or Happy Hour food and beverages, large party take-out, delivery or with other discounts or gift cards. For more information, click here.

Hooters: On April 18th if you buy 10 wings at Hooters, you can get another 10 for free. This is valid on boneless or original wings, but only on dine-in orders.

Bruegger’s Bagels: If you ‘Like’ their Facebook Coupon Page, you can get 13 bagels and 2 tubs of cream cheese for just $10.40 from April 15-18 at participating locations.
