I am STILL using the only mixer I ever owned. It was a Sunbeam hand held mixer. It has fallen from my countertop several times. The housing around the mixer is cracked and broken and it looks terrible but it keeps on running. I could sure use a new stand mixer!
I would love to own one of the kitchen Aid Stand mixers b/c I can’t stand up for more than a few minutes @ a time and may be loosing my leg (amputation) soon due to poor ciculation.This way I can teach my husband how to use it so he can cook for me and our son who is totally paralyzed. it would be a great help. I saved and saved until I finally bought the mixers of mixers twenty years ago. I guess I thought it would last forever, but last week I found oil dripping into the stainless steel bowl. And now it sounds like an earthquake when I use it. The tech support says it is time for a new one. I was working when I got the last one, but now I am disabled and won’t be able to save $300.00 again. I refuse to get rid of it. It will always have a place on my kitchen counter,and I will keep that bowl shiny and new looking. Thanks for listening, even if I don’t win, I feel better talking about it, and thanks for all the great deals you get us.

I absolutely need a mixer. I dont have a mixer and last week the food processer died. I am retired and now I have time to bake and create fancy things. But a girl has to have tools to do the job.
