The slam dunks. The lay-ups. The 3-pointers. The early round upsets that completely ruin your bracket. The sentimental alma mater picks that spell out your bracket’s doom even before the first tip off. Ahh, March Madness, how we love thee. No matter how wretched our March Madness brackets may look right about now, there’s just something about the annual NCAA Tournament that gets us excited year after year. It’s in this spirit that we were inspired to create our own version of March Madness…
Beat BradsDeals: Our Version of March Madness
Friends, Romans, fellow online deal seekers – we are very excited to invite you to our first ever Beat BradsDeals tournament! Sponsored by Finish Line, Dick’s Sporting Goods and Under Armour, we’ve recruited sixteen of the best frugal mommy and coupon bloggers in the country to put their bargain hunting skills to the test in this NCAA-inspired contest. We’re matching them up head-to-head, March Madness bracket style, to see who can get the most bang for their buck. The Beat BradsDeals champion will win a trip to Las Vegas, a new set of luggage from Luggage Online, and will challenge Brad Wilson, Founder and Editor-in-Chief of Brad’s Deals, to the ultimate money saving throw down.
Unlike March Madness, where all you can do is root for a team and tear out your hair when they lose, YOU pick the winners! For each match up, our BradsDeals fans will have the opportunity to vote on which blogger put together the best combination of deals for their money. Will you vote for the contestant who saves the most money? Or maybe for the one whose comments tug most at your heart strings? If great deals were defined only by dollars saved, we wouldn’t need your votes!
What’s in it for you:
For every vote you cast, you can to enter to win a brand new iPad!
Here’s how it works:
- Go to our Beat BradsDeals page. We’ll post the latest matches every Monday, starting today.
- You can vote on Beat BradsDeals match-ups every week from Monday through 11:59pm ET on Wednesday.
- After you vote, you’ll have an opportunity to sign up for Brad’s Daily Alerts. If you sign up (or are already logged in), each vote you cast will count as a contest entry.
- You may only vote once per match; however, there may be as many as four matches happening at any given time.
Except as noted above, our usual contest rules apply.
The Beat BradsDeals tournament will run from Monday March 26, 2012 through Thursday May 3, 2012. Be sure to check back every Thursday to see if your pick won, and then again on Monday to vote in the next round! Or sign up for Brad’s Daily Alerts to get the weekly Beat BradsDeals round up delivered to your inbox.
May the best online bargain hunter win!

How come i can’t get any details on the offers. I was interested in the mens cotton shorts, but without knowing whether they have any pockets at all, I just went to Hanes, where I know what I’m getting.
Maybe I’m missing something – I was in the large display section too
C
Hi Carl,
I am not familiar with the Hanes deal you’re referring to. If you have questions about a particular deal, it’s best to post a comment on that deal rather than on a blog post. That way the editor who posted the deal will see your question and will be able to answer your questions there. Thanks!
Bradsdeals is a great website
Jessica,
Stop sucking up! Carl is worried about his cotton shorts (aren’t we all?)which has led him to post in a place that has NOTHING TO DO WITH his problem. Carl, I have to be honest, I’m relieved you wear shorts… your ‘tude would lead me to believe you are one of those “pants optional” kind of guys. Just remember, pockets aren’t everything. Good luck shopping in the future, though.
