Unable to resist the allure of the new iPad even though your 1st gen or iPad 2 is still trucking along?

Looking for a way to justify buying the new iPad? Apple's Reuse and Recycle program gives you cash back on your old model.
To ease any spending guilt or strain on your wallet, you can trade in your old iPad for money to use towards a new one. Apple’s Reuse and Recycle program includes iPads and gives you cash back depending on the model and condition of your iPad. Your cash back comes in the form of an Apple Gift Card that can be used toward the purchase of a new iPad (or whatever else you want from Apple, be it computers, apps, or music).
The process is straightforward. You enter your model information and answer a few questions about the condition of the iPad to get an estimate. Then you enter your contact information so you can get a postage paid shipping box to use for your old iPad. Once you ship the iPad and Apple’s partner PowerON receives it, they’ll check the condition and issue your Apple Gift Card in the appropriate amount.
In addition to Apple’s program, you can use these other sites to get cash back for a variety of electronics:
Gazelle: They will ask you to answer a few questions about your used item. Then you’ll send it in and they will inspect it and then send you payment via check, Amazon gift card or PayPal.
BuyMyTronics: You’ll complete a few questions about the condition of your item to get an estimate. You’ll ship it in and they will email you if their estimate was off by more than $25 or 25%, you can accept or decline the offer and they will pay you via check or PayPal.
EcoSquid: They work in a very similar manner. Answer questions, get an estimate, ship and get paid. After you input all of your information, a buyer on EcoSquid will choose to purchase the item and pay for your shipping. You then choose the method you wish to receive payment. Check and PayPal are the most popular, but some buyers offer prepaid Visa cards.
