    2. Angie Griffes says:

I would like to nominate my family, I recently became reacquainted with JT an old flame from nearly 20 years ago. We are planning a wedding for next year and of course lots of stuff keeps popping up and blocking our way.

He had lap band surgery 1 year ago and has successfully lost 146 lbs. so as you can imagine no clothes fit him correctly.

I had a car accident nearly 2 years ago that piled up some pretty hefty bills that are still haunting us from surgery on my shoulder.

2 weeks ago I had a loop monitor implanted to monitor my heart activity due to episodes of tachycardia leading to black outs. I work an hour from home and this happened while I was driving…

My children are grown but by no means “on their own” entirely with the economy the way it is. My oldest son lives in my house in Michigan for a small fee and upkeep so that he can take care of his family. He is a struggling contractor but maintaining.

My daughter is a single Mom who was homeless and jobless in Michigan, JT and I went to get her and my Grandson in August and brought them to Florida, we put them in a trailer and we are paying their bills as well as our own, she recently started a part time job but doesn’t have time to save for Christmas.

My third son is in jail in Michigan and I can’t afford to even talk to him on the phone and I can’t visit because he is in Michigan…. I can’t put money in his account for him to get postcards to write either.

My youngest son is also in Michigan and he is basically homeless and his girlfriend is having a baby today by early emergency c-section, they are in no means prepared to have a baby.

Jt and I are rooming with another lady because he at one time co-signed for a home loan (before he knew better) and the loan is in default messing up his credit so we can’t move on at this point.

This is just the last few months, I would love to be able to make Christmas for my family Merry…. but this year it might be best just to cancel the whole thing.

So, yea a little Happy would be nice right about now…. Thanks!

    3. Jen M says:

I am a mother of three suffering from chronic migraines. I have a wonderful support system my husband and kids as well as my mom and brother. We have had nearly 15,000 dollars in medical expenses this year most of which is from me. I have had three doctors give up on trying to help because they simply do not have any more medicines to give. I have to drive 1 1/2 hours to a headache specialist in Denver for treatment. I have pain everyday, most of the days are very painful very few are ” good days”. I can no longer drive because of medicines that they have me on which leaves my husband to do all the running around and stuff even though he works fulltime. My family so deserves to have a wonderful Christnpmas after all they have done to support me.

    4. E-lizard-breath says:

I have a roof over my head, and even though our mortgage payments are usually late. We scrape up the means to pay for it. We are lower middle class and are stuck in that you make JUST a bit to much, even though you’re eating Ramen noodles for dinner almost every night.

It would just be lovely to be able to get the kids stuff they want for Christmas, because it’s going to be slim pickings here. There are five kids here and man, why is everything so expensive? Even a board game they want is $19. Really kids, you sure you don’t want to learn to cards instead? Learn to play poker? Rummy? No such luck.

Gobble Gobble and thanks for having a giveaway! I know this will make someones year!

    5. Jamie O. says:

I would like to nominate my sister-in-law and her family. She is mom to 8 kids…1 biological, 2 step, and 5 adopted. She works full time outside the home, and has a BBQ stand on the side with her husband. However, a few of the kids are special needs, and require medication, and she is diabetic…more medication… They have no insurance, and paying for all of this really takes its toll on them financially. She is also in need of surgery, but because of no insurance and money stretched too thin, her needs are put on the back burner so they can provide very basic needs for the kids. They are great, loving parents, who truly deserve a break, especially at Christmas!

Thank you for your time! Happy Thanksgiving and Merry Christmas, everyone!!!

    6. Sheila Oblak says:

I would like to nominate my boyfriend, Dale Terrill. In June 2012, he was diagnosed with
lymph node cancer in his throat. He has gone through several weeks of radiation. He
is going to have surgery as a result of the radiation so he can swallow. More surgery may
be required. He is on social security disability and has very little money for the extras in
life. He has several other medical conditions that cost a lot each month to manage.
He could use a reason to smile this holiday season.

    7. Silvia says:

    8. Rita Adams says:

This wish is that you donate one of the prizes to Toys For Tots or homeless shelters for families. Most of the families have lost their jobs, their homes ect. So many, to pick one in need, I can’t do.
To spend Christmas on the street with your children has to be devastating. Thank you for reading this WISH.

    9. Pamela says:

What a wonderful thing you’re doing by hosting this giveaway! Kudos to you!

    10. Hi, My name is Brenda Dickson, and myself, my husband and our younger children reside in Cocoa, Florida. We just recently moved to Florida from northern California to be with our 32 year old son and his wife. Our son felt it was time for us to come near him as we near our nearing our retirement age. I would like to win this contest, so I could take my family to Disneyworld, or Universal Studios. Our family consists of 21 children, and we still have 9 children that live at home. I have 4 birth children ages 38, 34, 32, and 30, and my husband Randy has 2 birth sons, ages 30 & 22. We have 15 adopted children ages 36, 30, 28,24 ,22, 17 , and then we have 9 children at home ages, 17,15,14,13,12,11,10,9,and 7. Also my 30 year old son and his Fiancé and her son are moving here in the middle of December to try and better their living situation. As you can imagine, we have not ever been able to take our whole family to a wonderful magical place such as Disneyworld, or Universal, or Sea World. A few of our children have had the opportunity, but the majority have not. I became a foster parent about 27 years ago, and all of our adopted children were previous foster children from Sacramento Calif. I have never asked for anything for our family, but I recently started shopping on Brad’s Deal’s and saw the contest, and felt I should try and win Weather we win or not, I do appreciate the time that Brad’s Deal’s take to help us find the best prices on clothing, electronics, and gifts. Thank you for your time,

      Brenda J Dickson 321-338-7310 or cell # 916-214-6069

    11. Geraldine says:

I would love to nominate my nephew Sean. He and his wife moved to South Carolina to be near my elder 88 year old father. Both Sean and his wife have been diligently looking for work since they arrived in February 2012. Just yesterday he called to tell me that the only car has transmission problems. it would be great to help out and show my appreciation . They have sacrificed a lot to assist me because I am disabled and live far away.

      Thanks for your consideration

    12. Jennifer says:

I’d like to enter for the 3rd Annual Wish List Giveaway. I’m a 35 year old married woman and has been trying to have a baby in the past 3 years of my marriage (after first miscarriage). My parents are divorced and I live with my mom. My dad is living in Taiwan, with newly diagnosed liver cancer. He already resected 2/3 of his liver, yet, after 2 months of operation, his liver cancer came back again. Doctor told him that he’s got aggressive type of liver cancer. I did not tell my dad regarding my infertility problem all these times because I didn’t want to worry him. However, after his diagnosis, he wrote me a letter recently saying that his last wish is to be able to come to the United States for the first time and see how my lifestyle is and hold his grand baby in his arm. I have been on infertility treatment since February this year and finally it has succeed it in October. I am in 5th week pregnancy now. I wish I can save money and fly him over after I deliver, however, I’m afraid he might not be around until next August. With the prize, I can fly my dad to the United States and make his wish comes true. Please consider my entry.

    13. Barb Boyd says:

I nominate my neighbor and best friend Rosie for your 3rd Annual Wish List Giveaway.
Rosie is such an honest and giving person. When ever anyone is in need Rosie is the one who arranges a fund raiser or gives out of her own pocket. If anyone has extra produce from their garden or fruit from their trees, they know to get it to Rosie and she gives it to the right people. This has continued even while she has been out of work. She organized a very large garage sale this summer with the proceeds going to our local food bank.
Recently Rosie has had a very hard time in our small community. Through no fault of her own she was let go of her job of 9 years. Because of the politics involved some of Rosies’ friends have turned against her. Rosie, 58, doesn’t drive and finding another job in our very small town of Ariel is proving difficult. She was turned down for unemployment funds. Rosies’ boss out right lied saying she didn’t show up for work when in fact she was told not to come back. It has been a few months now without a paycheck for Rosie. Her money always bought the groceries. She recently told me that Christmas was canceled for her and her husband. I know that Rosie could sure use a helping hand. Thank you for this consideration.

    14. Linda Baker says:

Don’t have enough to live. I’m a Hurricane Ike survior.

    15. Wendy Ritter says:

Where to begin. A couple of years ago my husband and I both lost our jobs. After some prodding from others, we used what little we had saved and started our own small business. It has been a very tough road. We have been trying to sell our house since then, but no takers. Once we thought we had it sold, rented a place, moved everything out before signing day, and the buyers loan didn’t go through. Moved everything back in. Had to turn off all the utilities we had turned on at the rented apartment and turn back on all utilities on to the house we were trying to get rid of. Mail was messed up for weeks. Next, our car, which was close to getting paid off, and is usually a dependable brand, broke down. Something about cylinders. Had to replace it and go into debt with that too. Son in college needs living expenses so, we do the best we can with loans. My father is being sued at 85 years old for something he had nothing to do with and we would like to help him with that. We are not spring chickens anymore at 57 years old and having to push through this. I know it must be a tough decision to choose, but we could sure use some uplifting in our lives.

    16. Cindy S says:

I’m a single mom of 3 daughters, still trying to play catch up after divorcing. With no help from my ex, I’m trying to put the oldest one thru college. I haven’t been able to work extra because for the last 15 months my fiance has been unable to work while going thru cancer treatments. He has 2 sons and has been having to pay his insurance out of pocket so that it won’t lapse. The last few years have been stressful and very lean for the kids. They have been disappointed a lot but haven’t complained, so it would be great to be able to splurge on the 5 of them.

    17. I am married with 3 grown children. They live in 1) VA; 2)GA; & 3) NC. My spouse seems to hate all of them and he drinks heavily. My health is not at a place where I can work and I have to pay to travel from one home to the other. My spouse is abusive and I don’t have money to leave him. I would like to be able to relocate somewhere that my children and grandchildren could visit me without anyone having to listen to his drunken babble. We have not had a family Christmas together since the late 1980′s. Thank you in advance for considering me.

    18. Valinda B. says:

I wish for the world to believe in Jesus Christ. I am a single mom, 58, with MS. Because my income is so tiny…under 9,000 a year on SSDI, my beautiful child qualified for grants to go to college. The money was awarded on her excellent grades! She loves school and is studying to major in business management. I have never been able to supply her with anything except a roof over her head and some adequate food now and then…no frill life…and I feel so bad about it. I suffer from severe chronic depression, as well, and sometimes, although my faith is with me…some days it is difficult to get up..and want to breath at all…my mind thinks about the alternative a lot…but by the grace of God, and my daughter, I get up.
She needs a good computer to finish her school programs….she has her eyes on an Apple Mac. It will be too costly for me to ever buy it..and I would love for you to consider her for anything you could spare….after all…a mind IS a terrible thing to waste, right? She really deserves a break.

    19. Valinda B. says:

I forgot to say thank you! And have a wonderful Holiday Season, praise be to God!

    20. Lynn Russo says:

My son attends a school for special needs children. It is less than 5 months old and wad
created because the founder, a visionary, saw a need to create a quality environment for these kids, especially high school kids. When she developed this concept at a private school, they decided her ideas and she no longer fit with their long term plans. In 23 days, a team of four put this school together, even qualifying for state grants and alerting the community to fill the needs to operate the school. Almost every week children are enrolling because we know this school is one founded on the children. They could certainly use a little help while we apply for every grant and opportunity we can find. They have done a great job seeking donations but there are unique items that are required for educating these special children that must be customized for these children. The school is a not for profit and our children are learning, both socially and educationally. A contribution to this school would help the children for years to come. We are so lucky to have this visionary who has put forth her own money to get this school started for these kids. Many of the teachers still are not taking any salary to make sure the kids get what they need. Please consider a gift that keeps on giving. Thank you for your consideration.

    21. Laura Muzughi says:

I would like to nominate my husband. We have both always been such hard working people and always giving to others and working many charity events.
August 2, 2012 our world came crashing down..he got sick..a fever..chills..headache. Within days he was in a coma and didnt wake up for a few weeks. I am grateful to say that he did finally wake up out of coma..but is now paralyzed from waist down.
With his paralyzed situation..it leaves me as his caretaker. He has no control over bowel or bladder so this is a full time job with no time for me to work outside the home.
Even with this situation..I try to make the best out of it and grateful for the fact that i have his mind and he can smile..talk with me..hug me and laugh with me and for that i am grateful.

    22. Loretta M says:

Thank you, for allowing me this opportunity to enter on behalf of these great causes, also I know there are many other great causes as well.

    23. Robert Neveux says:

There are those that need this more than I do, but If I am chosen I will give half to my chuch who could really use it.

    24. I am a mother of three minor children. I am on medical leave without benefits. I am in need of food, shelter, medical care and financial assistance.

I feel my wife and son should be picked. My wife is 30 years old and has numerous tumors throughout her body called Vascular Malformations. That is not so rare in itself but what makes it more rare is that hers is deeper in her body and they have embedded in her bones and muscles and she is now forced to use a walker at the very least and a majority of the time she is confined to a wheelchair for long distances. She has one of the malformations in her heart and because of that she is forced to wear oxygen at all times. My son is 6 years old and we discovered he also has vascular malformations in three parts of his body. The most prominent is one in his knee . He is going to undergo his third surgery on his on December 13th of this year, that will be his third surgery in 18 months and if the doctors have told that eventually surgeries may not be an option anymore and eventually the may have to amputate his leg. The doctors said they may happen in 1 year or it could be 5 years. At this point it is not a matter of if, it is a matter of when. Due to the severity of the disease we are making at least two trips to Cincinnati a month which is four hours away for us. I feel my wife, Jessica and my Son Jackson should be chosen because Jessica always thinks of my 3 kids and I and never does anything for herself or buys anything for herself because that is money we can save for one of the kids or our several trip to Cincinnati. It would be good for Jackson so we could get him things for Christmas that could be a distraction for him because he cant do the normal things like ride bikes or play sports because his knee could bleed from the inside and he also has to use a wheelchair so it also limits his activity. Thank you for taking the time to read this.

      Many Blessings and Merry Christmas,
      Jason Fortman
