The Hyatt Visa is worth getting for four big reasons but this offer of two free nights at any Hyatt after the first swipe of the card is the best. Since "any Hyatt" includes their Park Hyatt brand, you can stay for free at properties like the Park Hyatt Sydney, Park Hyatt Paris or Park Hyatt Maldives where rooms are $1,000 or more per night! They also have US locations in Chicago, DC and Colorado, though rooms are less than internationally. The second reason is that you get free Platinum status for the life of your membership, which means free internet, upgraded rooms, bonus points and more. The third is that you earn 3 points per $1 on Hyatt stays and 1 point elsewhere. Fourth, earn one free night in a category 1-4 hotel on your card anniversary. Brad from BradsDeals — Hi Amy, there isn't a catch there beyond needing availability of their standard rooms. If those are sold out, you can't book an award that night but otherwise you're good. I've crafted several long Hyatt award stays at this point. If every night I want is not initially available, I give myself some time and book nights online one at a time as they come available. I check back over a few weeks and usually get what I want since there are so many cancellations with hotel rooms. For longer stays, or very popular dates, I've had to wait until the last week once or twice until every night fell into place.

Ddechert — Do you have to pay the tax on these rooms? If I got the card today how quick is the turn around time to be able to use the rooms? If me and my wife got this card could we use the free rooms in four consecutive days and can you canceal the card before the annual fee of 75 dollars comes due with no plenelty?

Brad from BradsDeals — I've never had to pay tax on award nights at Hyatt. I'd say ~2 weeks before you got everything, plus whatever add'l time needed to plan travel. The fee is charged immediately so that only strategy there is cancelling in 11 months if you don't want to stick with it.

Brad from BradsDeals — hi jim, the card has a $75 annual fee. hyatt is remarkably good about not tacking on charges and fees.i spent 16 days at the park hyatt in paris not long ago and my ENTIRE BILL at checkout was 20 Euro for a dessert i ordered. no taxes, fees or even the gratuities i signed for at my free breakfasts (i am diamond). i paid them with a few coins from my pocket. it was priceless.it can vary by resort. if memory serves, there is a daily resort fee of $25 or so at their Grand Hyatt Kauai, for example. i'd confirm with the specific property first.

Brad from BradsDeals — right, the one night for two is not a current promotion...though i am holding my breathe until it returns. ;) right now there is an easy way to get four nights at any hyatt - that being have yourself and a significant other both get a card and get two sets of two free nights on signup. if you could also get a chunk of Chase Ultimate Rewards points (ie via this sapphire card offer http://bradsdeals.com/go/p/101394), you could convert those at 1:1 into hyatt points and get more free nights. if you and someone else got both cards, that actually would work out to be 8 nights worth of hyatt points.

Brad from BradsDeals — We are all incredibly valuable to credit companies so they dangle a lot of carrots in front of us to get us to be their customers. The carrot is real. If you eat it and don't do anything else dumb you've benefited. The main catch is that it comes with a credit card so there is no shortage of downside there, plus there are some other details we've addressed here but nothing abnormal.

Brad from BradsDeals — The only way to earn two of the signup bonuses is to have two separate accounts, each with a fee. You can always add each other as add'l cardholders on your accounts, but that is separate.
