Get 25,000 membership rewards points when you spend $2,000 on a new American Express Platinum Card within 3 months of signup. The points are worth $500 or more if well-used. The Platinum charge card is chock full of benefits but weighed down by the hefty $450 annual fee. Use it like a BradsDealer and you can derive much more than that from its benefits. In addition to the 25,000 points, you get a $200 credit against airline fees and free airport lounge access for American, Delta and US Air (worth at least $400). Those three alone are worth over $1,000 but see here for my longer review of Amex Platinum benefits. Two notes: 1) you can enter a US Air lounge without a boarding pass so you don't need to fly them to use the lounge; 2) there is a similar 25,000 point offer on the Platinum Business card via this link.
