  Get 25,000 Starpoints with the Starwood Preferred Guest American Express Card. After you use it just once, you'll get 10,000 Starpoints. After spending $5,000 in the next six months, you'll get another 15,000 points, plus 1 point per $1 spent, so you'll actually have 30,000 total in your account. Starpoints can be very valuable and are worth much more than $0.01 each.
