Steve — I have the 4140 that I got on Sale at Staples for $79.00 and am happy with it but remember they make money on INK. In order to save in total, get the HIGH YIELD BLACK carts (about $30 at staples) and set your printer to print in Greyscale. DOn"T use it for color unless you want to pay about $1.00 each to print a color page. But for a cheap printer this will do. And their Cust Support answers the phone fast (and IN THE US!)

Steve — See my comment below. ALL printers eat ink especially COLOR. NEVER print a PHOTO at home - use drug stores. This is good deal if you set the printer default to ALWAYS print in GREAYSCALE. (It uses some color and eats it up, but I'm still using grayscale with an empty color cart after 6 months and 3-4 black replacements. I print lots of shipping labels.

Linda Szymoniak — Very disappointing that I only just saw this deal and it's already expired. I just started a dog rescue and this would have been a godsend to my rescue at this price. It's going to be a while before we have funds to buy a different scanner/printer.

Melody — Try tomorrow at 6:00 p.m. Linda but, read the above. It depends on what you are using it for whether or not it is a godsend for a businesss. I also do dog rescue. You do not want to use it to print pictures as the ink does not last long and it is costly.

wvskybird — the pixma canon 280 is $29.99. it has many of the same features as this one. yes, it came with ink. usb was extra, but i had one.

Steve — Linda: understand that the Printer/Scanner is CHEAP part. It's the INK. In most cases if you do B&W only in draft - as I do- you'll spend about $120 year on the Ink. So, don't fret. Look for the Canon 4120 (higher price) at Staples or Amazon. You should be able to get for under $80. with free shipping. It will come with ONE regular size Black and one Color cart but the "regular" ones don't last long. Then look on Ebay or on web for "$25 off orders over $75" coupons and but - say - 3 HIGH YIELD BLACK carts. Set printer to default to Greyscale and DRAFT mode and you'll have the most cost efficient printer scanner. Hope this helps.Again, I think Canon ink costs less than HP and I love the look of my 4120.

Kathy — and includes a black and a color cartridge. It costs that much for 1 cartridge replacement. So it is cheaper to buy this.

Robbi — This seems to be a great deal. I received my printer via UPS. They shipped it in the original printer box and it was covered in dirt from the UPS truck. Dirt is also all inside the box so I hope the printer will still work. It's a Christmas gift.
