T-Mobile is now offering the Samsung Memoir T929 Smartphone for free when you activate a new line of service. That's the lowest price we've ever seen for this phone (though there is a $35 activation fee. It features a touchscreen interface, an 8MP camera (quite high for a phone) with up to 60 minutes of video capture, Bluetooth, microSD memory card slot, up to 4.8 hours of talk time, and more. Shipping is free with sales tax charged in most states.

Monica — Please help. I'm a lame-o. I added the phone (which was listed at $449.99) and added a plan and there is no discount in my shopping cart. Where might I find the promotion on their website? Thanks.

Andrew at BradsDeals — Hi Monica, I just tried it out. Here's what you do: empty your cart, head back to the landing page, and select your plan first (from the column on the right side of the page with the pink buttons). After you add the plan to your cart, it should take you to the add a phone page where you can select the Samsung Memoir and it should be free in your cart (after you look at the additional accessories and things, none of which you need to purchase). Hope that helps!
