  Earn a $50 credit when you open a free Electric Orange checking account with Ing Direct and use your debit card three times. This checking account has no monthly fee, no account minimums, and no ATM fees. It also pays interest, currently 0.20% to 0.90% depending on your balance, the mere existence of which is a plus. To sign up, push on the "apply now" button on the site. Note that the $50 will post after your account has been open 50 days. Note that they do run a credit check, which is somewhat unusual, but we've received great feedback from customers about the bank and their accounts.
