This checking account has no monthly fee, no account minimums, and no ATM fees. It also pays interest, currently 0.20% to 0.90% depending on your balance. To sign up, push on the "apply now" button on the site. Note that the $50 will post after your account has been open 50 days, and that they do run a credit check, which is somewhat unusual, but they're well reviewed by existing customers.
