I will say however that I don't think this is designed as a replacement to your home furnace or heating system. I'd say that it would be best utilized as a complement to your current setup or as a way to bring some extra heat to under-heated areas of your home. Hope that helps.

KickinMule — These are the "hot" new things for limited space heaters. They seemed to originate with Amish-built wood cabinets and now there are many copycat versions, with various "innards" - I wish an expert would rate them. Meanwhile I like my SoleusAir reflective heater where the settings use only 400 or 800 watts (Presto also makes a good one with higher wattage) - they're not as pretty but they're cheaper to buy and (I suspect) run.

Bowman Victoria67 — Chris, I had to speak with customer service on another matter and while on the phone I asked about the cost of running one these being that it is electric and I'm really trying to replace the use of space heaters that run up my bill terribly. I was told these really don't cost more than a dollar a day to run. So if you're money conscious like myself, watch where your consumption of electric goes on other things and you should be good.

Lorried58 — Just recieved mine. looks nice, not very big, will work perfect upstairs. gets cold in colorado and i try not to use my furnace. I have a Dimplex celeste electric fireplace downstairs and this little unit puts out as much heat as my Dimplex for a lot less money.

MizGrandma — I ordered this heater using code #VM50, but they still charged me full price. I noticed they were trying to charge me full price, so went back & entered the code a 2nd time & then checked to make sure I was being charged the correct price. Yet they STILL overcharged me. I have been unable to reach the company by phone, so tried to email them, but they require a non-existent code to send the email. I am contacting my credit card company to institute a dispute.
