This means that $10 gift certificates which normally sell for $4 are now just $1.60 and $25 gift certificates, which normally sell for $10 - $15, are now just $4 - $6. While this is not the lowest discount we have seen from them, Restaurant.com has just re-stocked their certificates so now is a great time to buy. Not all restaurants participate, but there is a good selection to choose from. Just be sure to read the fine print, as many places exclude alcoholic beverages, weekends and other things. Joe-r-b — True, you need to read the fine print. However, they don't expire anymore, including certificates you may have bought in the past that expired at one time. They are good once again.

Joe Schmoe — This is a great deal! I seriously just went out to eat at a Sushi restaurant last night and used my coupon with no problems whatsoever. Yes, gratuity was added but who cares? I didn't have to leave an additional tip then--it basically made it easier. If you can save $25 dollars on a great meal after spending only $4-6 dollars that's an awesome deal in my book. Highly recommended!

Jhill3ft — No expiration dates, and total ticket before tax and gratuity may be $40, NOT $40 extra as one person suggested. Gratuity is a no brainer, if you ever had a teenager or friend that was a waitress, you would know that they don't even make minimum wage. Ehey totally need to be tipped if they give good service. Have bought several of these, my only complaint is not a big enough variety in my area. Sometimes you can get these for 80% off !!

Psychmaj2 — I love love love restaurant.com! I am fortunate enough to have family that doesn't mind paying their fair share for the tab. We split it since I have the coupon we all come out ahead AND get to enjoy our favorite Mexican place. Must spend $35 to get $25 off...so we are basically spending $10+ tax and tip and the cost of the certificate (which I got for $4)!! I supply the coupon and they get dinner for $5 a head...not a bad deal at all!

bearmom465 — Even though you say the new ones don't have expiration dates, I would recommend you contact a restaurant before purchasing. I purchased certificates for the only two restaurants in my area last December. A few months later my husband and I took our whole family to one of the places to eat. We looked over the menus, showed them our certificate before ordering and then were told they no longer honored them even though they had a 1 year from purchase expiration date. So I contacted the company about it and they refunded my money but didn't remove the restaurant from the website for quite some time. So that meant they continued to sell certificates that could not be used. So a few months later we decided to take our family for pizza at the second place I purchased a certificate for...we got there and there was a big sign on the door stating they no longer honored the certificate. So again, I called the company to let them know. They told me I could exchange the cert's. for another establishment (well there aren't any around my area). I kept checking the website to see if the restaurant had been removed so nobody else could purchase unusable cert.'s and it still appeared and people were able to purchase. I contacted the company via email several times and called them several times. Needless to say, they have to follow proper procedures (so they say) and that restaurant stayed on the site for appr. 2 months before they finally removed it. In those two months, I wonder how many people took advantage of the great offer and were not able to use it. So my suggestion would be to contact the establishment you are interested in and inquiring whether they still accept them or are planning to cut the program in the near future. Sure, it's not a lot of money in some cases...but it's still money!!
