Through 6/14, T-Mobile.com drops the online price of the Samsung Galaxy S 4G by $199.99, making it free with a new 2-year contract. We couldn't find it anywhere else for less than $99.99. It has received great reviews because of its speed and functionality. It even comes pre-loaded with the action film Inception. With an HD out port you can stream content from your phone to your TV. Shipping is free and sales tax is charged in most states. Note that a $35 activation fee will be added.

Tsk Tsk T-Mobile — HA! Good luck! First, IF you are a Brand NEW customer, there is a $35.00 activation. Not totally free but expected. What's worse is my family has been with T-Mobile for 6 years. Our contract is up. I saw this *free phone offer and was willing to upgrade to a higher rate talk.text.data plan with a new two year contract. This is a web only price meaning you're on your own, must order online with no assistance. Once I logged in with my phone nbr the price changed to $150.00. I called for assistance and explained my contract is up but would be willing to sign a new 2 year contract so that we could take advantage of the "free" phone offer. I spoke with the rudest Customer Service rep I have ever spoken to in my life. T-Mobile will only let brand new customers take advantage of this offer. I guess my loyalty and timely payments are not as valuable as a new customer who could easily back out within 30 days. I guess they could care less if I stayed with them? Contracts up so time for a change! Bye T-Mobile. Thanks for nothing.

Rjrl — I experienced the exact same thing. I think it is disgusting that these phone companies are more loyal to non-customers than to current customers. It is awful!

It doesn't make much sense to treat paying or potential customers with any disrespect even if you are giving them a free phone. Hopefully others will have a more positive experience with this deal. Also, thank you for clarifying the activation fee; we've updated the post with that info.

CristindKrug — I had the same problem, its stupid that they only allow the NEW customers to get in on this. I been with T-Mobile for more than 10 years, and they want to rape their current customers and make them pay twice as much as a new customer.. I am SO ready to switch to Verizon
