Guest — BEWARE-This is NOT an LED TV! It says it is in the post, but when you go in and read through all the specifics, no where does it state that it is an LED TV. Plus, with 160 watt power consumption for this size tv, it just doesn't add up. Love Brads Deals, but please make sure of your info before you post. This is inaccurate and very misleading!

Guest — First off, LCD which stands for Liquid Crystal Display is older technology. LED stands for Light Emitting Diodes. Bare basics: better quality over longer period of time. Just a personal choice.

Ladypeace69 — The three technologies are vastly different, particularly with respect to how each screen is lit. In plasma HDTVs, the phosphors that create the image on the screen light up themselves, and don't require backlighting. For LCD HDTVs, however, the liquid crystal screen does not illuminate, requiring a separate light source. That's where the difference between "regular" LCD screens (also known as CCFL-backlit LCD) and LED-backlit LCD screens (also known as LED-LCD, or just LED screens) come in. Traditional LCD HDTVs use cold cathode fluorescent lights (CCFLs) to illuminate the screen. CCFLs are similar to the fluorescent lights you might see in some lamps and overhead light fixtures. They use a charged gas to produce light. LED screens, like their name implies, use light emitting diodes (LEDs) to illuminate the display. LED backlighting has become much more common in the last few years, and CCFLs are now generally only seen on budget HDTVs.

1SaleADay False Advertising — This TV is not 120HZ as advertised! It's a 60Hz which is a BIG difference in clarity. They shipped it fast, but they will not accept returns despite the deceptive advertising on their web site. I am disputing the purchase with AMX and Pay Pal. I will not do business with 1saleaday and advise others to beware of their false advertising. Any others out there who have experienced the same or similiar deceptive practice, please comment as I believe when sellers do not omit they made a mistake and make it right with the consumer, we as consumers we need to stand up against this actitivity and file legal class actions and report them to their state and local consumer affairs agencies.
