George Sier — this trimmer is highly over rated, the batteries don't last more than 10 or 15 min, we have 2 of them , but have gone back to our Black & Decker electric trimmer , the concept is great, but the batteries need to improve to make this a viable alternative to the cord.

Sarahc104 — George, I recently purchased this item and had the same problem. A neighbor has one also and informed me that the more you used the trimmer along with recharging the battery, the longer the charge lasts. It works. I was disgusted also, like you and went back to my electric. Now I get the full 30 minutes of use after I charged the battery numerous times. Kind of aggravating, but worth the extra time to not have to drag a long electric cord across the yard!
