 A reminder: through 9/15, college students, as well as teachers and staff members, can get a free iPod Nano or Touch (up to $299 via rebate) when they buy a Mac (now the most popular notebook on college campuses) from the Apple Store for Education. The easy-to-follow directions are in a column on the right side of the landing page. Plus, the Macs are discounted $100-$200. For example, a $1199 MacBook is $1099 for students and a $2199 MacBook Pro is $1999. Also, there is an additional $100 rebate when you buy a Mac and a qualifying printer. This is a rare chance to save up to five hundred dollars at The Apple Store.
