A year or so ago, my roommate and I walked into an Apple Store in Knoxville, TN to try to find a solution to a large apartment and a weak wifi signal. There were plenty of patrons, and plenty of staff around the store to accommodate the crowd, but we were able to help ourselves out for a while before someone approached us. It was nice to have that time to get an initial look at the items and to discuss a price point between the two of us before being confronted with a sales pitch. We settled on the AirPort Express after confirming that it would work with my PC. (I'm a PC guy w/ the exception of my iPhone 4...I love it!) The sales pitch was not overbearing in any way, and he gave us the information, and then the space, to make an informed decision. The Express worked wonderfully and we didn't require additional trips to the store. Kudos to you, Apple!!!
I have owned 2 Mac laptops and I'm looking to buy a third now. I have owned and do own 2 Windows based laptops. The Mac is by far a much better platform for performance and reliability. You aren't just buying a Mac, you are buying a quality product with a promise and a place you can bring your computer to when and if you have a problem. My Mac HD went out after 3 years. I took it to the Genius Bar for help, paid $414.00 to have it replaced. It extended the warranty another 12 months. It has conflict issues right away. I took it back in and the HD was replaced free of charge of course. The HD had immediate conflicts again so Apple replaced the motherboard, HD, increased the RAM from 2 gig to 4 gig the graphics card and fans replaced too. All at no charge I will add! So I the end it has been 7 years with my MacBook and it is still a fast reliable computer that has never had a virus or operated slowly. Once apple thought it may have a virus but it turned out to be a hoax. A++++++ Grade!
