I love GameStop for the in-store game play and knowledgeable gaming staff. If I rated them solely upon these factors they would have 5 stars.
Here's where they fall short:
Power Up Rewards Program
$14.95 per year and I get a cool gaming magazine with a poster each month. Every time I purchase from them online or in-store I get points. Points are redeemable for some pretty cool stuff. Over a year and a half ago I redeemed a great deal of points for a pretty cool necklace. Within a week it was marked shipped. After a month I hadn't received it so I called. GameStop said I would receive it within 6 months. 6 MONTHS LOL! Why mark it shipped, I said. That's just how their system works they said. Long story short, it's been over a year and a half and my points were deducted and I've still never received the necklace...
