FWIW, I have ordered several Jewelry.com items and had no trouble whatsoever. As near as I can tell the prices are very good and the one time I dealt with customer service the woman I spoke with was very professional and went out of her way to resolve my problem. Maybe it just depends on who you get, but I had a great experience.
Jewelry.com sent me the wrong pearl strand which I had ordered for my daughter's college graduation. I ordered an 18" 14K clasp 6 mm strand, received at 15" strand. They refused to overnight a second set (even though I was paying for the second set and waiting for a return/refund on the first set - up to 4 weeks to get a refund). They offer 100% satisfaction, but aren't willing to fix their mistakes. Without overnight shipping, I will not have enough time to purchase something else if they were to make another mistake. Pretty sad. Sometimes saving money is not the way to go.
