I clicked on the link through Bradsdeals, ordered the cookbook, and tried to check out, but it would not accept the verification code for my card. After checking to make sure that all my information was right (it was), I called their customer support number. The lady who answered was extremely rude. She claimed I needed a code for the free shipping that was offered (there was no code mentioned anywhere in the Brads Deals listing or on the website, and I had been offered free shipping when checking out online). I finally read every word that was on the email and website to prove that there was no mention of a coupon code. She eventually gave me the free shipping, but she continued to be very rude for the rest of the call.
This company was having a sale on thier cookbooks which I happens love. They also stated that they were available for immediate shipping. So naturally when 2 weeks went by and I didn't have the books or any shipping information I started to have some questions. I could not understand the women at customer service, and when I explained this to her she hung up on me. I was not the slightest bit rude what so ever. The second time was better. I explained to the lady that I no longer wanted these books as it had been way longer then I had expected. (they were gifts) she said no problem she would take care of it. Oh fantastic! Not so. About a week after that I noticed that there was a charge to my bank account from them?? When I called they said that there is nothing that they could do since they were already shipped. Even after I explain about the previous phone calls. I was told that I have to refuse the package and have it returned to sender, or go to the FedEx store and pay
