I contacted them to see if they price matched because I found same item for $40 less on Amazon. The condescending rep told me the Amazon item must have been a cheaper, different item. When I assured him that it was definitely the exact same item, he told me the difference in price wasn't significant enough for them to price match as it was only $40. He said if the difference in price was greater, then they would do it and scoffed at the fact that I was going to order from Amazon despite their slower shipping time because of the lower price. He again stated that it was only $40. I do a LOT of online shopping since I furnish homes for my clients. I will never visit Wayfair again.
While I was shopping on Walmart's website, I noticed that alot of their home items (plates, mugs, rugs, etc.) were sent from Wayfair. I went to the Wayfair website directly. The prices were the same but I got free shipping on my $49+ order (I would've had to pay 4.99 at Walmart for my $32.96 order). They have TONS of items! I found some other items too that I haven't been able to find! In all this excitement I forgot to put my promo code in for 10% off so I had to call them to put it on my order. Their customer service picked up right away (big plus for me I HATE waiting) and was so nice. I haven't received my products yet but just from ordering I plan to go back to Wayfair! :)
