Apple.com has new inventory of their refurbished Silver 4gb iPod Nano, which was recently cut to $79, a $20 drop and $70 below the original price. The 8GB model is also available at it's new $99 price (a $50 drop) with all five colors (silver, black, blue, pink, green) in-stock. This "3rd generation" Nano has a 2" display that plays video, an updated interface, and comes with new features like the ability to "flip" through album cover art. Despite the "refurbished" status, it comes with the standard one-year Apple warranty ($39 for two-year) that a new iPod does. The new generation of Nanos are available in nine colors at $149 for a 8GB model and $199 for the 16GB model. Shipping is free from Apple, though sales tax is charged to most states. Click Here

Apple just announced a new iPod Nano with a curved aluminum and glass design and nine color choices. Cool features include the music genius (it creates playlists based on songs it thinks "go together"), an accelerometer that flips the screen horizontally (a la iPhone) so you can watch video in widescreen and the shake to shuffle (physically shake the Nano and it shuffles to a new song). Refurbished 80gb iPod Classic $169

Apple has new inventory of their refurbished 80GB iPod Classic Model at it's new $169 price. This is $90 less than the new $249 120gb iPod Classic and, since they have a full one-year Apple warranty, these are a much smarter buy. The Classic is larger in capability (80GB equals about 20,000 songs) while considerably thinner (0.41" thin) and lighter (just 4.9 ounces) then prior iPods. It has a 2.5" screen for video. The 8GB model (scroll down the page) is $179 (a $20 drop), the 16GB model is $219 (an $80 drop) and the 32GB model is $319 (an $80 drop). This iPod Touch is similar to the first-generation iPhone but without the monthly AT&T bill (and the phone capability). It has the same touchscreen interface, 3.5" widescreen display and wi-fi web browsing plus direct wi-fi downloads from iTunes. It has the YouTube button, calendar and photo application.
