Halloween is barely over, yet already holiday carols and Christmas displays are ringing out in retailers across the country. Yes, the holidays are less than two months away, but you still have plenty of time to set up your wallet and really take advantage of all that holiday spending through the magic of credit card perks.

Here are three cards that you'll want to apply for to save even more this holiday season:

Chase Freedom

If you have a giant purchase coming up, Chase Freedom's current offer of zero percent APR for 15 months is great. Plus, you'll receive cash back (or Ultimate Rewards points if you already have the Chase Sapphire Preferred card) on your purchases. Freedom's five percent category around the holidays this year is department stores, wholesale clubs, and drug stores.

(Note: Chase is a Brad's Deals partner. Read our Advertiser Disclosure for more info.)

Citi Prestige Card

The Citi Prestige card is one card in my wallet because of the 3X bonus on travel purchases and 2x bonus on restaurants (that's the majority of what I spend money on). But, Citi also offers all Citi cardholders "Price Rewind," which allows you to have assurance that you'll receive the lowest price on any item within 60 days of purchase. You can get up to $300 back per item, and up to $1,200 per year. Our own David Johnson wrote a post on how he hacked this deal to get Black Friday pricing without the lines! And a great concise write up on how to get protections across other cards can be found in our post here.

Amex Blue Cash Everyday Card

This card just added a great new feature: ten percent off ALL Amazon purchases within the first 6 months of card membership (so long as you apply before 1/11/17). On top of that, you'll earn three percent cash back on the first $6,000 you spend at U.S. supermarkets each year (most cards only offer this as a rotating category), two percent back at U.S. gas stations and select U.S. department stores, and one percent on all other eligible purchases. This card also features a sign up bonus of $100 after spending $1,000 within the first three months of card membership.

Finally, keep in mind that purchase warranties that many cards offer are a great deal for electronics.  There can often be defects, and having a credit card can protect your gift from ruining an otherwise great holiday.

Black Friday is coming fast, and you'll want to apply for one card to make your big purchases on to save you even more money this holiday season.  Happy shopping, and good luck!
