The Chase Freedom Unlimited℠ Credit Card is one of the most consistent cash back cards on the market. Not only do cardmembers receive a $150 bonus when they spend $500 on purchases in the first three months, they also enjoy 1.5 percent cash back on every purchase, so there's no need to memorize a long list of bonus categories in order to get some serious rewards.

There is no annual fee for the card, which is great for those just getting started with credit cards who are looking for some truly free rewards. You can redeem your cash back at any time for any amount, which, in my experience, is a welcome feature, as many cash back cards require that you earn a minimum amount before allowing redemption.

If you want to earn an additional $25, you can add an additional Chase Freedom Unlimited℠ cardholder to the account for free, and make at least one purchase on the card. This is definitely worth the trouble, as the qualifying purchase can be something as small as a stick of gum!

Another good thing about this card? No interest for 15 months! For all purchases and balance transfers made in the first 15 months of account opening, you'll have zero percent APR, and after that a variable APR of 14.99%-23.74%. The balance transfer fee is 5 percent of your current balance or $5, whichever is greater, and card membership also gives you many protections, like zero liability protection, purchase protection, price protection, and more!

How does it stack up with other cash back cards?

The Chase Freedom Unlimited Card℠ is one of the best in its class. Not only is the sign-up bonus large relative to how little you have to spend, there's no annual fee and you earn 1.5 percent cash back on every purchase! It's definitely one of our favorite no-fee cash back cards, and if you want to consistently earn money back on all your everyday purchases, this card will help you do it.
