Disney vacations are often a necessity for a young family.  Whether you're traveling to Orlando or Anaheim, one thing is true- it'll be expensive.  Here's how to save 10% on a lot of your expenditures while meeting the Mouse.

While we realize that not everyone can travel to Disney for $1, you can get one simple disney-worldfinancial tool to save your family 10% on souvenirs, dining, and behind-the-scenes tours.  The Disney Visa Debit card is free to use as long as you have direct deposits of $500 or more a month, or $1,500 in minimum daily balance, and comes with a lot of perks that will save you money!

The Perks

Some perks include 10% off purchases of $50 or more at DisneyStore.com, Disney Stores in your local mall, or in the parks, 10% off select restaurants, 10% off tours, 15% off spa treatments, and a private character meet and greet at select locations.  Here are the dining locations for each park:

  • Storytellers Café (Lunch)

I'll be honest- there are a lot of excluded restaurants, but if you plan things out right, you can save a lot of money.  I've dined at many of these restaurants in the past, and they're definitely unique- you'll have a traditional beer-garden experience in Epcot, and a fancy breakfast at Steakhouse 55, for instance.

Plus, you'll receive perks like $50 in stateroom credit when you book your Disney cruise with your debit card (and pay in full) with it.  Mention code DCC at booking.

Conclusion

Well there's that!  While it won't save you 10% off breakfast with Cinderella in her castle, the Chase Visa Debit card could be a way to save your family some money on your next vacation together!
