Sharing Travel Offers on Brad’s Deals in 2020
It’s been an interesting year for travel, to say the least. With flights shutdown worldwide, borders closed, and people (hopefully) in their homes social distancing, now is not the time to travel. But, as the economy and world begin to open back up, opportunities to save on future trips, with extra flexibility for changes and cancellations, have started to present themselves.
In March, we paused posting all travel deals. We didn’t want to promote travel during a confusing time where it wasn’t quite clear how safe travel was for Americans, and the situation kept changing rapidly.
As we moved into the social distancing phase of the coronavirus response, we continued to pause the posting of new travel deals because we didn’t feel like it was an appropriate time. Our editorial team has been busy sourcing household needs for families and finding helpful deals for our new ‘normal’. Our travel team has been focusing on sharing relevant blog posts. From understanding the best options for award travel to understanding what airlines and hotels are doing right now, we want to help you feel prepared when the time comes.
The news is beginning to look cautiously optimistic as we near the apex of coronavirus cases in the hardest hit areas of America. For many, myself included, thoughts in self-isolation begin to drift beyond the present to the excitement of future possibilities and adventures.
We have no clear idea when or where travel may be possible in 2020 and 2021, but we can try our best to educate you on what your travel options are. We also realize that many of you are ready to plan travel again, even if travel isn’t possible in the near future. As we begin to post for travel again, we’ll only share deals with your best interest in mind and promise to:
- Make our best efforts to research and promote travel offers that are less likely to be affected by local and foreign efforts to combat the coronavirus. This includes refraining from deals that depart before August 2020. As conditions change, we’ll adjust our policies as well.
- Provide you with important information on new change and cancellation policies so you know your options when you are booking travel if conditions should change.

As someone who has traveled over 200,000 miles a year around the world for the past decade, the last two months have been one of the strangest times. However, we have to remain hopeful and know that travel isn’t cancelled in the future, there’s just a delay on departure.
