As students start their spring semester, many are looking to score textbooks at a bargain price. We can relate! • Chegg is currently taking 10% off your book rentals. For example, you can rent this College Mathematics book until June 1st for $47 with this coupon, instead of buying it for $174 at the school bookstore. You do have to pay for shipping, but book returns ship for free.  You can also rent eTextbooks to your laptop or e-Reader for 180 day intervals.
• Amazon boasts up to 80% off textbook rentals and offers the convenience of downloading them to your Kindle (apps are also available for PC, Mac, iPad, iPhone, Android device, Windows Phone 7, Blackberry to make it more convenient for those who do not own a Kindle). You can choose the length of the rental, between 3 and 360 days, so you only pay for the time you use it. Plus, you can also make notes, highlight and use it just as you would a regular textbook, but at a fraction of the price and without the hassle of selling it afterwards.
• Barnes & Noble allows you to rent books in 60, 90 and 130 day intervals and do have the option to extend your rentals from 15 to 125 days longer depending on your needs. These books are shipped to your house (and you ship them back for free). Barnes and Noble also has eTextbooks that can be bought or rented. The eTextbook rentals are more expensive than hardcover rentals, but you get to keep it for 180-360 days.
• Other textbook rental sites with ongoing promotions include: Alibris.com, where this coupon gets you $4 off $40; PhatCampus, where this coupon gets you $5 off $50; BookRenter.com, where you get free shipping and this coupon for 5% off 3 rentals, and eCampus.com, where these coupons get take $3-$5 off your rental.
