COVID-19 Tests No Longer Required for Travel to the United States

Since January 2021, travelers have been required to take a Covid test before flying back to the United States, whether you're a citizen or not. The original window was 3 days before travel, later shortened to one day before travel by the Biden Administration. Throughout this policy, travelers coming into the US by land or sea were not required to test.

As of Sunday, June 12th, travelers flying into the USA no longer have to test to enter. This news is welcomed by many in the travel industry, and many in the business community, who believed it was time for the requirement to be lifted. For those looking to travel for leisure abroad, the fear of testing positive, and not being able to come home after symptoms resolve (but still testing positive, a reality for many that I've spoken to) is no longer. Testing policies for cruise lines are still in place.
