If you’ve landed here, you probably have some questions about us. Is Brad’s Deals a scam? How does the site make money? As consumer advocates, we’re always glad to see consumers asking good questions about where they shop online – and we’re happy to answer when those questions happen to be about us.
These are some of the most common questions we get about our website and business.
We’ve been in business online since 2001, longer than many of the stores we work with! You don’t last as long as we have if you’re not legit. Most of the time when we hear this question, it’s because people don’t understand what we do or how our site works.
Let’s say you have a friend who is always finding the best sales and best prices on everything he buys. This friend – let’s call him “Brad” – is always really excited to tell you about it so you can get in on the deal, too. Brad calls you up and says, “Hey, I found a really great deal on air fryers at Kohl’s, and it’s the lowest price I’ve seen anywhere since Black Friday. Weren’t you looking for one of those?” Your friend Brad sounds pretty awesome.
That’s us! Brad is a real guy and that’s what we do! Hi, friend!
No. There’s no shopping cart on our site because we don’t sell anything ourselves. We’re the friend who tells you where and how to get the best deals on the things you want and need. That’s it!
When you click on one of our deals, you’re whisked away to Macy’s, or Walmart, or Home Depot, or one of the thousands of retailers we work with. Once you get there, you can get the deal for yourself, but you’re buying it from them, not us. Since you are never buying anything directly from us, we don’t have access to your order information or sensitive financial info like credit card numbers.
It also means that despite our best efforts to confirm that a retailer has enough inventory, the best deals sometimes sell out. That’s not a scam – just supply and demand. We always take these deals down once we know they’re no longer available. We take our deal quality pretty seriously. If a deal isn’t working out for you, then it isn’t doing us any favors, either. Just leave a comment on the deal and we’ll follow up.
Whenever you buy something we mention in one of our deals, or use one of our coupons, we may get a small commission on the sale. Don’t worry, it doesn’t affect the price you pay. That’s a fee the retailer pays us as a thank you for sending you their way.
We’re always happy to help our readers troubleshoot any problems. Start with our FAQ or Contact Us and if that doesn’t work for you, then you can always send us an email at email@example.com . We’ll do our best to help you figure it out.
