Pack away those pumpkins and put down the turkey, ‘tis the season to transform your home into a holiday haven filled with festive joy! We’ve created a complete walkthrough checklist from outside to inside to ensure that your halls are decked with maximum comfort and joy. You know that we’re always on the hunt for great decor for great prices, so we’ve stocked our list with some of the best holiday decor deals that you can expect to find this season. Now let’s begin our journey of yuletide decorating starting at the front lawn!

Outdoor Christmas Decorations

Outdoor Lawn Decorations

Before we even get to the front door, we need to make sure our lawn is looking merry and bright…on a budget of course! To save money on your outdoor decor, we recommend shopping at Aosom to get the best deals on holiday inflatables. We recently found this 6’ Inflatable Toy Solider for $28.99 with free shipping. You’d pay about $20 more for this same inflatable at other stores! If giant inflatables aren’t your thing, we recommend shopping Best Choice Products to get deals on more traditional outdoor Christmas decorations. Keep your eyes on our deal feed, because we often feature exclusive Brad’s Deals codes to save even more! For example, a recent code of ours dropped the price of this Lighted Christmas LED Reindeer and Sleigh from $229.99 to $90.

Outdoor Christmas Lights

With the lawn taken care of, let’s channel your inner Clark Griswold and get some holiday lights on that house! Our experts love these Govee Permanent Outdoor Smart Lights because you can keep them up year-round. During the holiday season, you can use your smartphone app to change the colors to something festive. When the season has passed, simply change the color of the lights to a neutral color to provide uplighting to your house. We find the best prices for these lights on Amazon. We found them as low as $139.99 for a 50-foot light strip during Black Friday, but prices typically range between $150-$200.

Front Porch Decorations

It’s almost time to deck the halls, but first, let's add a little merry to that front porch. We love shopping at Wayfair for our outdoor decorations, especially during the Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales! During the last cyber sale, we found this 3-Piece Lighted Christmas Present Display Set dropping from $77.49 to $44.49. We recommend placing these beside your door for a little extra shimmer and light.

On the opposite side of your door, you could place this adorable Santa Wooden Porch Sign. We found it on sale at Amazon for $24.99. If Santa-themed decor isn’t your thing, you could check out this collection of porch signs on Amazon. We typically find this to be the best place to shop to avoid overpaying for these popular seasonal signs.

A Front Door Wreath

The last stop outside is the most essential part of any well-decorated holiday home: the wreath! Wreaths can get quite expensive, but our experts are constantly on the lookout for deals to help you get a luxe look for less. We love shopping at Michael’s for beautiful wreaths at great prices. We recently found this Ashland 24" Ornament, Leaf & Pine Needle Wreath for $15.99 and think it looks like it costs at least double that.

Indoor Christmas Decorations

Entryway Decor

Now it’s time to deck the halls! How about adding a little greenery to those bare banisters? This 9-ft. Pre-Lit Glitter Bristle, Pinecone & Berry Crestwood Spruce Artificial Christmas Garland has little pops of color from the red berries and texture from the pinecones. Even better, this garland is pre-lit, so you can save yourself the hassle of untangling last year’s Christmas lights. Grab it for $59.99 at Kohl’s.

To add a little warmth to your entryway, try this Wood and Metal Tabletop Lantern Set next to your door. You’ll get a little added light from the LED candles and a rustic look from the wood which will cozy up the space. Since these lanterns aren’t strictly winter-themed, you could even keep them up year-round. Get them at Wayfair for $119.32.

The Christmas Tree

The Christmas tree is the centerpiece of all holiday decor. We love a fresh tree, but we can’t argue that a good artificial tree is much more convenient and cost-effective over time. We love shopping at Macy’s to find a good quality Christmas tree for a great price. Recently we saw this National Tree Company 6' Acacia Pre-Lit Christmas Tree dropping from $524 to $89.99 with free shipping. If you're looking for a secondary or smaller decorative tree, we recommend shopping at Aosom. We often find trees for as low as $38 with free shipping. For example, this past season we saw this HomCom 6' Tall Unlit Snow-Flocked Slim Artificial Christmas Tree dropping from $79.99 to $38.26.

When is the best time of year to buy a Christmas tree? We typically see the best sales after Christmas, but we also see stores offering nice discounts early in the Holiday season as well.

Christmas Tree Trimmings

Now let’s add some trimmings to that tree! For the best deals on ornaments, shop at Macy’s late in the Holiday season or just after it. That is the time of year when we see the deepest discounts on these items. Last year we saw discounts of up to 80% by mid-December. For example, this Holiday Lane Boxed Set of 75 Ornaments with a Tree Topper dropped from $200 to $50 during one of their late-season sales.

As for Christmas lights, we typically find the best deals around Black Friday and Cyber Monday. This past year, we found this 66ft 200 LED Christmas Light Set dropping from $24.99 to $14.99 at Amazon. Keep your eyes on our Deal Feed during Black Friday week to make sure you don’t miss out on any of our great finds!

Kitchen Decor

Moving on to the kitchen, we’ll add a little holiday cheer by subbing out our traditional kitchen towels one of these St. Nicholas Square Kitchen Towels Sets. We found these sets for just $5.59 during one of the past Holiday Sales at Kohl’s. We picked up this adorable St. Nicholas Square Yuletide Cookie Jar for $14.99 and this 2pc Holiday Plaid Oven Mitt and Pot Holder Set for $4.99.

Bathroom Decor

To go the extra mile with your decor, transform that hum-drum bathroom into a winter wonderland that your holiday houseguests will love. You can decorate your bathroom in one go with one of these Decor Studio 17-Piece Holiday Bath Sets at Macy’s. This set has everything you’ll need to decorate your bathroom, like a shower curtain, bath mat, soap dispensers, hand towels, and more. It usually sells for $80, but we picked ours up for $28 during one of Macy’s Holiday sales.

Living Room Decor

Next up, let's swap out those old couch throw pillows for something a little more festive. We like these North Pole Holiday Throw Pillows from JCPenney. We found them for as low as $14.99 apiece during a holiday sale. Cozy up that couch even more by adding one of these matching North Pole Trading Co. Holiday Velvet Plush Throw Blankets for $7.99. Better yet, stock up on a few of them and give them away as gifts!

Bedroom Decor

To impress your Holiday guests even more, adorn your guest bedrooms with a new cozy comforter set. We can often find holiday sets for as low as $20 at Macy’s. Last season, we saw this JLA Home Holiday Village Comforter Set dropping from $80 to $19.99. To add any various odds and ends, be sure to shop the year-end sales at department stores like JCPenney to get the best deals. Last season, this selection of Holiday Decor was discounted by over 80%. We found great deals on adorable accessories like this North Pole Trading Co. 11" Baker Christmas Gnome. Usually $40, it dropped to just $8.39 during the sale.

As we wrap up our holiday decorating, be sure to carve out a few moments in the season to bask in the glow and warmth of the holiday season. Remember that the real magic of holiday decor doesn’t come from what we put under our tree, but from the people that we gather around it with. And, of course, the great deals that we picked up all season! Cheers to a holiday season filled with peace, joy, laughter, and budget-friendly finds.
