Prices are increasing on everything right now and shoppers are looking for ways to save on everyday essentials. They aren’t making big, impulsive purchases as much as they’ve done in the past. With Amazon Prime Day on the horizon, the retailer may use this as an opportunity to prove their worth.
Our managing editor Casey Runyan explains that Amazon needs to demonstrate that its more expensive Prime subscription is worth the cost to consumers. This is especially true in times of inflation and tightened budgets. She thinks this will lead to better deals on household necessities. Look for deals on toilet paper, paper towels, toothpaste, and laundry soap.
One great example is this early Prime Day deal. Get a $20 gift card for spending $75 on P&G household products. Shoppers can buy brands like Bounty, Tide, Cascade, and Charmin, and earn a gift card.
