In these times of uncertainty and uneasiness, we realize the importance of a good deal more than ever before.
It feels like there’s a ‘big sale!’ everywhere you look. Every store is trying to get your attention, but what really makes for a good deal? That’s where we come in, and we look at two factors when answering that question.
- Our team has a set list of criteria to evaluate every sale to find the lowest prices. This also means no jumping through hoops or extra fees, and we always consider shipping costs if free isn’t an option.
- We listen to what shoppers (like you!) want. To ensure we are curating deals that meet the standards of what you want, we surveyed shoppers earlier this year to understand what is most important when it comes to finding deals. Through our 2022 Online Shoppers Report, we learned that quality, price, and availability are most important when shopping online.

Quality, Price, and Availability
These were, in that order, the most important qualities of a deal that online shoppers want. We look for the lowest price but also take into account quality and availability. If the quality of the item or seller is below our standards, even if it's the lowest price, we won’t share it. With those same standards, we also avoid disappointing experiences, like only one size option or it's backordered for three months.

Trust and Reviews
After quality, price, and availability, shoppers emphasized the importance of product reviews and trustworthiness and legitimacy of a store. We take this aspect very seriously. All of the stores we partner with are vetted by our team with a dedicated Brad’s Deals contact to help and monitor any issues.
Reviews (or personal experience) are the best tools we have when deciding whether a deal is worth your hard-earned money. We read hundreds of customer reviews and know how to spot if they are paid or fake. Along with our own research to vet credible and legitimate stores, we partner with Fakespot to analyze product reviews. When you see this flag on a deal from a third-party seller, like Amazon or Walmart marketplaces, it’s been verified for real, honest product reviews. It’s our mission to make sure you are never blindsided by a crappy product or fraudulent website.
