Prime Day is coming! By now you may have heard rumors about Prime Day 2023. Well, so have we and we are here to help! Last year Amazon announced Prime Day in mid-June, so we are expecting an announcement soon, but expect that it will be around the same time as it was last year (July 12 is Amazon’s birthday, so that’s usually around when Prime Day falls).

What is Prime Day?

Prime Day is Amazon’s annual summer sale event. Arguably the Black Friday of summer. In fact, we have seen some items have better pricing during Prime Day! The 2-day event allows Amazon to reward its Prime members with exclusive pricing, especially on Amazon-owned products (think Kindle, Roomba).

It’s also a great time to purchase home and beauty essentials, Apple products, and all of those viral sensations like lululemon dupes and THE Amazon jacket. While you don’t have to be a Prime subscriber to participate, you will get way better discounts with Prime, plus exclusive deal access. 

What to do to prepare?

  • Make a list of the items you want to buy.

  • Set up deal alerts so you know when the items you want to buy are on sale.
