Get 25% Off Award Stays and Free Parking At Hyatt Properties
Today, Hyatt announced further benefits for members traveling through October 8th, including up to 25% off award stays and free parking for members. Let's dig into the details!
Free Parking and Up to 25% off Award Stays at Hyatt Hotels
Coming off of triple points earning for all stays through September 15th, starting with your second stay (as well as a one-time 2,500 point bonus for elite members through August 31st), Hyatt has announced several more promotions to spur travel this summer. These promotions are in addition to Hyattextending status until 2022.
Award Night Rebate and Free Parking
All members who register for the promotion will earn 15% back on all award stays and redemptions through October 8th, up to 30,000 points per transaction. Registered members will also earn free parking on all award stays, which is normally a benefit only for Globalist status, and is great for those of us traveling by car instead of by plane this summer.
Keep in mind, rooms, room upgrades, dining, spa services, Exhale classes, FIND experiences, and Lindblad excursions all qualify for this discount.
World of Hyatt Credit Card members will earn an additional 10% back on award stays, for a total of 25%. This is a great deal and makes top-tier 40,000 point properties only 30,000 points! Bottom tier Category 1 properties drop to 3,750 points per night.
Globalists, who already receive free parking on award nights, will now receive free parking on all paid stays. I just booked a stay next week and we decided to rent a car, so this perk will save me $175. Thanks, Hyatt!
Triple Points on Dining
If you miss dining out, Hyatt is offering 3x points on dining at participating Hyatt restaurants, when not staying at the hotel. Just provide your World of Hyatt number and be sure to pay for your meal with a credit card that earns bonus points for restaurants. If you pay with your World of Hyatt card, you'll be earning 5 Hyatt points per dollar with each transaction.
This is great news from Hyatt. They've really shown the willingness to discount their properties to bring guests in during this slow travel time. While some parts of the country are still dealing with major effects of the virus, other parts of the country are not, and many folks are ready to travel, even if they plan on staying close to home. This promotion will help them save money on their next trip.
